Cyberchron Rugged Systems is a privately owned and operated qualified small business. Formed in 1974, the initial focus of the company was the design and manufacture of board level electronic components for major computer manufacturers.

In the early 1980s, Cyberchron began to transition to rugged computer systems for the military. Superior technical approaches and design philosophies made Cyberchron responsible for many of the innovations now utilized throughout the rugged industry.
