XTI has now combined modern advances in technology — lighter and more powerful turbine engines, light carbon fiber materials, and incredible computer capabilities to enhance safety, stability and control. These advances enabled XTI to overcome these historical challenges.
The TriFan 600 embodies proven technologies in a revolutionary configuration. It is both beautiful and highly functional. It is visually distinguished by a sleek exterior, and three ducted fans in place of large diameter helicopter rotors. The two ducted fans in the wings pivot and enable the aircraft to transition from hover to forward flight and back again for landing.
